DHA (dihydroxyacetone) – the active ingredient in most self-tanning products, reacts with amino acids in dead skin cells in the surface layer of the skin. DHA has been used in cosmetic preparations for almost 30 years and was listed with the FDA in 1973. It is declared safe and suitable for use in cosmetics and used to temporarily colour the skin. DHA is derived from glycerin (vegetable origin) which is a commonly used cosmetic and food ingredient. DHA is not absorbed into the body and poses no possibility of toxicity.

For our mobile appointments we will just need space for our 7’ x 4’ tent & an accessible outlet. If this is your first time, we will start with a quick consult to assess your skin type & your desired level of tan. We provide disposable bra/thongs, hairnets, and nose plugs. We will start by misting you with a PH balancer & applying barrier cream before your spray tan. Once we have finished spray tanning you, we will help with any set the tan with a finishing powder. You can expect this appointment to take 30-40 minutes, which includes setup and tear down of our equipment.

Your spray tan should last around 7-10 days given the proper prep/post spray tan care.

No. We customize all of our tans to your specific skin tone, as well as, the desired level of tan you want to achieve.

It is important that you consult with your Doctor for clearance prior to scheduling your appointment with us. 

We do not charge a traveling fee within a 20 Mile radius. Anything further than that is $1 per added mile. We can provide you with this extra cost ahead of time so you are aware.

We are by appointment only for both mobile & salon appointments. Our hours are Tuesday- Thursday from 9am to 8pm and Fridays 9am- 5pm. We are closed  Saturday - Monday. If you need an appointment for a date/time that is not listed within our hours of service, please contact us at @ ontheglowmobile2@gmail.com to request an appointment time. We will always try to be accommodating but please know that not all requests will be accepted. We will notify you if the appointment request is approved.
